Heros Journey Art

I created these sculptures for Eli Lilly and Company to raise awareness of

the importance of clinical trials for the development of new drugs.

Each sculpture represents a stage of the "hero's journey,"

and are filled with wood "bricks" adorned with art created

by 1000 participants from across the country.

The creation of the art, and the national participatioin of 1000

clinical trial patients, families and friends was documented in the

videos below. Each is less than 7 minutes long.

The sculptures were originally unveiled in Austin TX, Indianapolis IN and Winston-Salem NC. All are now located in Winston-Salem at the addresses shown below and are open to public viewing.
