This teapot form is the quintessential shape of the teapot I recall from childhood. It is the archetype of teapots. Triple normal size, it is over 16 inches tall, and is built up of many blocks of white oak, then carved. The carved forms are tea leaves, the camellia senensis, from whick all non-herbal tea comes. The flower designs are tea flowers, and are formed by 12,000 dress maker pins. Each pin was clipped off, with the remaining 1/4" tapped into the teapot.
