Sentinel

Sentinel came from a dream in which I saw a wall hanging (mask?) of a woman's torso with antlers emerging from the shoulders. A powerful image, it haunted me for a year, so I decided I had to pay it homage. Once I began making the sculpture, I liked the sensuous spine so much that I made the abstract skirt for "her" and ended up with this 8 foot tall free standing piece.
